Bloom returned to the Phoenix park for the 10th year of the festival. There were plenty of glorious gardens, food stands and cooking demonstrations to delight. Both attendees and attending brands tweeted photographs and shared their experiences.

2. #Vardy
Jamie Vardy the England Striker was offered a reported £120,000 per week to leave Leicester and join Arsenal. The conversation revolved around whether Vardy would make the move and break some Leicester fan hearts.

3. #TMNT2
The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 movie was released in Irish cinemas on 30th May. Irish WWE wrestler Sheamus starred in the feature film and made a number of public appearances in Dublin promoting the film and taking selfies with fans.

4. #Muhammad Ali
Boxing legend Muhammad Ali died on Friday at the age of 74. Twitter was filled with tributes to the great boxer including memories and photographs of the time he spent in Ireland.

The Labour party motion to abolish zero hour contracts, to introduce a living wage pass and to increase the minimum wage was carried on Wednesday. This was the first time in more than 25 years that the Government was defeated by a vote of the members.
